Letters to Santa

The girls wrote letters to Santa at school and Justin and I really enjoyed them. So here they are unedited. Dear Santa, Santa how do you go around the whole world in one night? And what I want for Christmas is a ipod, a American girl doll horse. And more outfits for my American girl doll, Hal Moose. And I hope you tell the elves that they are doing a great job. Tell Mrs. Clause she's doing a good job working with the elves. Tell her to cook you some more food for you because who ever heard of a skinny Santa. Love, Riley Dear Santa, For Christmas I would like a American Girl Doll, And a ipod and I have other stuff I want for Chrismas to but it is to exspenseve. But I always thought that you didn't have a bank acont so I guess it doesn't matter than. Here are the other things that I want here I go computer, phone, car and a Dolfun. But first I need to turn 16 and get a Drivers Licence to get a car. And I think it is eleegal to have a Dolfun. I engood talking to you. Yours Truly, Mariah Martin

Snow Fun

A Good One

We were putting up our Christmas Village and Emily found a little figurine of some children who are caroling. She came over to show me that one of the children had lost their head. I told her it was ok and she could put it in the village anyway. She took it over to find a place for the carolers and she told Mariah and Riley "Look, this little kid sang her head off!"

We love crab!

We went to the Festival of the Trees on Friday. One of my favorite Christmas traditions. I signed up for a new comittee since the board member I was working with resigned after last year. I get to help with the gingerbread houses next year (anyone interested in joining the committee with me?) Afterwards we went to eat at Joe's Crab Shack. Crab is Justin's favorite food and Emily loves it now too. Notice how proud she is in the picture that she got her own crab bucket.

FHE Treat

We made this fun little cottage cake for Family Home Evening. It was proud that the cake turned out and we (Justin did it because I was afraid) even got the cake out of the pan without it breaking.
