Good Friends

I know I am such a slacker. I have been meaning to post this for 2 weeks. Our good friends Jenny and Eliott and their family came to Utah for Thanksgiving. They came and stayed with us. We had a great time with them. Since they are from California their kids really wanted to play in the snow. We got lucky and it snowed that night. The kids got to build snowmen. We invited Shaun and his girls over to dinner and as usual the guys had just as fun playing as the kids. This is the snowman they built in the backyard. Here are Justin, Shaun, and Eliott with all their kids. It is quite a group. The next day we went to Salt Lake. We went on the tour at Sweet's Candy Company. Here is a nice picture of all of us with our sexy hairnets. It is not a very good picture but it is only one I got with all of us. We took the kids to Temple Square. Since it was the Monday before Thanksgiving the Christmas lights were not on. But they were testing them and getting everything ready for the lighting ceremony. Jenny ask the men if they could maybe turn on the lights for us. They were so nice and turned the lights on for about 20 minutes. Long enough for us to walk around and enjoy them and see the Nativity. We are so blessed to have such good friends. We have been friends for such a long time now and our kids get along great when they are all together. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Halloween

We had a fun group to go trick or treating. Some of the girls cousins came over and went with them. They had a great time with Dominic, Lily, and Cooper. Riley dressed up in a robe, curlers, and fuzzy slippers. She was comfortable and warm and she got to wear her pjs. She thought it was great. My dad holding Devin as Superman. Mariah as a beautiful vampire, not scary one. Emmy was an angel.
